Loxley School Aims Statement

We aim for pupils to become independent learners, motivated by their natural curiosity about the world in which they live. We want them to like themselves and to behave in a caring way towards others.
Loxley School commits itself to providing a small secure and happy learning environment, firmly located in the centre of the village community. Every child is encouraged to fulfil their maximum potential in all areas of the curriculum including academic, social, moral, spiritual, artistic and athletic. The school aims to promote healthy lifestyles and improve the physical and emotional health of its pupils. Parents are encouraged to play an active role in all areas of their children’s learning and in the social life of the school. To achieve our aims we provide a broad balanced curriculum, which fulfils the requirements of the National Curriculum, the Christian ethos of the school and the aspirations of its community.
